HEROIN GALLERY (MELBOURNE)

Youth welfare organisation Open Family plans to establish safe injecting rooms for young
drug users at its offices in both Melbourne and Sydney.

Open Family chief executive officer NATHAN STIRLING says the organisation would like to put
the plan into operation as soon as possible with the support of governments and police.

The injecting rooms would be set up in Footscray in inner-western Melbourne and Cabramatta
in western Sydney.
